Breath Immersions and Retreats

Combining Restorative Breathwork® with yoga and meditation, our breath immersions and retreats invite you to embark upon an inner journey of self-awareness, rejuvenation, and transformation. Whether you want to develop an in-depth personal breath practice or seek to deepen an existing meditation practice, these empowering and transformative programs invite you to step out of the chaos of life and experience the transformational healing power of stillness.

Breath Immersions

Our breath immersions are designed to refine and deepen personal skills in the systems and practices of Restorative Breathwork. They provide an experiential framework for cultivating an in-depth study of the breath and are structured for students at all levels of skill. They include guided breath practices combined with yoga and meditation. Each immersion is organized around a particular theme or topic. Due to the nature of these classes, students may repeat these programs as often as desired as a means to refine and deepen an inner practice, one that is rooted in self-awareness and inner-connectedness.

Retreats

Our retreats offer a in-depth study and practice of the restorative breath. In a retreat environment you are able to step out of the stress of everyday life and embark upon an inner journey of healing and transformation. They provide a sacred space to unwind, reflect, and deepen one's relationship to the transformative power of stillness and self-presence. Each retreat includes guided breath practices, yoga, and mediation, with personal time between sessions for solitude and introspection.

  • Restorative Breathwork is a powerful system to help heal yourself and to learn to help others. My training with Kathleen has particularly helped me as a yoga instructor with private clients. The teachings are applicable whether they are looking simply for stress relief or deep spiritual healing and growth.

  • Kathleen led a three-part basic breathwork workshop for eight clients of the mental-health free clinic run by my agency and provided the participants with audiotapes of the exercises for home practice. The outcomes have been nothing short of amazing! After three months clients report improved sleep, better control of anger and stress, a marked reduction in panic attacks, and the need for less medication to manage symptoms of anxiety. Best of all, Kathleen provided our clients with tools which continue to empower them in their journeys toward mental wellness. We will definitely offer this workshop again!
